Weeeeelll, here it is in all its glory. Our first house. And actually our current and only house.
I remember the day we first looked at it. We drove up, and I immediately knew we would own this house. It just clicked. And by click I mean I wanted it and I knew it was the one and slobbered and batted big googly eyes at my husband and tried not to faint or die or collapse on the living room floor of the joint until he said, ok, he thought so too.

I knew he'd see things my way.

There's been some ups and downs with the old homefront, but it has been such a great first house to practice on I mean mess up and do again I mean grow together in. :)

Take a good long look at the outside. Cuz I will probably never show it again. I am what some might call "lazy" in the outside of the house department. Others might call it something more kind like "more focused on the interior" or something nice like that. Whichever way, the hubs and I aren't outside lovin' peeps. Which is cool and all until a tree falls over in your yard from some crazy storm or snow or something, and you find yourself looking at it laying there dead for the better part of a year. Yes, that is a true story.

Just keepin it real folks. Sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you don't and sometimes there's a tree in your yard for a year. Whateva.

Let's Start at the Start

I love design. I love to create, design, and dream up what something could be and then make it that way. I love to talk and think about those things, too. So I made a blog, where I can share all those things with YOU. Even though I have 1 reader....who may or may not be married to me, and even if I only have one smallish house and have to post about the same 2 rooms over and over and over, and even if the only person that ever thinks the things I create are beautiful is ME, I have recently been given some advice too good to ignore.
